Although a lot of us can get pretty busy with work and be stuck sitting behind a computer all day, it’s so crucial to still make time for ourselves to move our bodies daily. There’s a reason why everyone always hypes up walking 10k steps a day!

Eliminate Alcohol

Even though a glass of wine or a cocktail can honestly be amazing every once in a while, consider reducing or eliminating your alcohol consumption. While an occasional drink may be enjoyable, excessive alcohol intake can negatively impact sleep quality, mood stability, and overall health. Luckily, there are so many mocktail options these days, so it’s actually pretty easy to live a sober life & not miss out on the fun. Cold plunges are all the rage right now, so cold showers are an easy alternative you can do at home that will give you many similar benefits. I even like taking my regular, hot showers and for the last couple minutes turning on the cold water, just so it’s less aggressive than a full-on cold shower.

Get Sun First Thing in the Morning

Expose yourself to natural sunlight early in the day to regulate your circadian rhythm and enhance mood. Sunlight exposure helps synchronize your internal body clock, promoting better sleep quality and overall well-being. Spend time outdoors or near a window in the morning to soak in the benefits of sunlight.
