The Best Condom Brands That You’ve Probably Never Heard Of

Especially with most of the obvious things that are happening right now, safe-sex is more important than ever. While there are many different forms of contraceptives that can be used, condoms are one of the most widely used options because not only do they help prevent pregnancy, but they also help to protect against STDs. Despite that many people, including myself in the past, may not have even thought twice about the type of condoms that they or their partner may be using, it has come to my attention that many of the leading brands make their condoms with many poor ingredients, such as petrochemicals, glycerin, and BPA. Even though all people may not necessarily have a bad reaction to these types of chemicals, overall they have the potential to be disruptive to the ph balance of your body and can create unwanted irritation/discomfort. So many people may not even be aware of this because the topic of sex and the sexual health of women still doesn’t get the coverage that it deserves, but I’m here to show you some brands that actually have a mission of creating products that are not made with things that can be harmful to your body. (& I included the links on where you can get them!)

CAKE

  • Comes in many different sizes and styles for the best fit and pleasure

  • Not made with harmful chemicals

  • Super cute and colorful packaging

LOLA

  • Lola is famously known for their menstrual products made from 100% organic cotton, but they also sell natural condoms & other sexual health products.

  • You can buy them on their website and they also have an option to get them regularly though a subscription service they offer.

UNION

  • Comes in three different sizes (THE MAX, THE STANDARD, and THE SNUG)

  • No harmful chemicals used to make them

LOVABILITY

  • Okay I’m lowkey obsessed with these because of how cute and girly the packaging is.

  • They also use a different type of packaging where the you just remove the covering layer and the condom is already right-side up, which makes it less confusing for when you or your partner puts it on.

MAUDE

  • Similar to Lovability, they also have that same type of packaging where the condom is right-side up to make it easier to put on. This brand also comes in different sizes and they sell other types of bath & body/sexual health products.

  • Not kidding everything on their website is so chic. Like tell me why I literally want to put their condoms and lube on display in my house lol.
