While there are many different forms of contraceptives that can be used, condoms are one of the most widely used options because not only do they help prevent pregnancy, but they also help to protect against STDs. Despite that many people, including myself in the past, may not have even thought twice about the type of condoms that they or their partner may be using, it has come to my attention that many of the leading brands make their condoms with many poor ingredients, such as petrochemicals, glycerin, and BPA. Even though all people may not necessarily have a bad reaction to these types of chemicals, overall they have the potential to be disruptive to the ph balance of your body and can create unwanted irritation/discomfort.
