Fall 2022 Bucket List

Yay I’m so happy that it’s finally fall!!! As much as I love summer, I was honestly ready for it to be over (Idk, but to me it felt extra long this year). The fall is always such a cozy and nostalgic time & I’m ready to just embrace all of it, so I made a little bucket list of all the things I want to do. I did a summer bucket list & did so many of the things I listed, so it only felt right that I do one for this season too. Also, hopefully this can inspire some ideas for someone else who’s reading this <3

  • Buy little pumpkins and cute fall decor to decorate my house with

  • Go to a pumpkin patch

  • Make pumpkin bread (I have the best recipe in one of my older articles)

  • Watch chick flicks & Halloween/fall movies

    • Ones I want to watch for the first time: Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Twitches

    • Ones I want to rewatch: Coraline, It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Nightmare Before Christmas

    • Favorite chick flicks: Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, The Hot Chick, Angus Thongs & Perfect Snogging, Princess Diaries, She’s the Man, 13 going on 30, Bring It On

    • Yes I love kid’s movies & chick flicks because I literally HATE movies that are actually scary

  • Buy new fluffy socks or slippers to wear around the house

  • Make hot coco with a shit ton of whip cream

  • Carve pumpkins

  • Buy fall scented candles

  • Bake a pie (ex. pumpkin, Milk Bar pie, caramel apple)

  • Buy seasonal fruits & vegetables and other fall goodies at the farmer’s market

  • Make homemade chili and cornbread

  • Bake homemade fall pop tarts with jam or pumpkin filling (Literally the most addicting treats ever)

  • Make sticky buns (or buy them from a local bakery)

  • Get a new, cute PJ set

  • Make clam chowder (I have no clue if this is even a fall dish, but it honestly just sounds so good to have on a cold day)

  • Hand out candy for Halloween (Okay maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I would 1000% rather stay home than go out on the actual day of Halloween. Like it gets way too hectic for my taste & don’t even get me started on Uber prices. No thanks)

  • Eat a yummy thanksgiving dinner with all my favorite sides and desserts (sides>>>>> main courses)

  • Go thrifting (I know everyone and their mother loves thrifting, but I have never really gone before. I really want to go soon and look for some cute and comfy oversized sweatshirts/crewnecks to wear around the house.)

  • Make homemade butter (Did anyone else do this in elementary school? I remember them giving us little jars of heavy cream and we had to shake them until it tuned into fresh butter & it was the best thing ever.)

  • Have a tv show marathon

  • Watch a bunch of Holiday Cooking shows on Food Network

  • Make a fall charcuterie board. Also, I have been seeing everyone talk about butter boards, which could be another fun thing to do. (imagine like a honey & cinnamon butter board or something. so cute)

  • Make cute fall/Halloween drinks and cocktails/mocktails

  • Have a friendsgiving dinner
