My cousin's birthday was at the end of July, and I wanted to surprise her with something incredibly cute. Together with my boyfriend, we came up with a brilliant idea: a personalized birthday box filled with little things she loves. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with how adorable it turned out! Originally, I didn't plan on sharing this, but I got so excited about the result that I thought it might inspire others who want to give a unique and heartwarming gift. So, let me show you what I included in the box for my cousin, but keep in mind, you can customize it for any occasion or any special person in your life!

  • The Box I Used:

  • Gold Flurry Dots On White Robe Box (From Paper Source)

First off, I love the look of a box because it already looks super chic and luxurious versus regular wrapped gifts. In particular, I like this one I got from Paper Source because it is super simple, but looks fun with the little pops of gold.

  • To Fill Up The Box I Used:

  • Rose Gold Gem Stone Tissue Paper (Paper Source)

Simple & cute. My cousin loves pink so this was perfect! I first used a couple of layers to cover the bottom of the box, then I put shredded paper & the actually gifts in the box, then went again and covered everything in a couple more layers of tissue.
  • White/Gold Shredded Paper & Pink Shredded Paper (Paper Source)

I mixed the two shredded papers because I felt like it would look super cute because I wanted there to be a pink theme, but I also liked that the white and gold matched the outside of the box. The shredded paper is not only perfect for filling up the box to make it look more full, but it also works to make sure the items you put in the box are cushioned and not rolling around everywhere. A win-win.
