Pinspirations of the Week
I’m starting a new segment on here called “Pinspirations of the Week” where I post some of my favorite things that I see on Pinterest. I know a lot of people think Pinterest is for middle-aged women, but let me put you allll on. Pinterest is the shit and I honestly like it even more than Instagram (but Instagram will always have my heart). I definitely get so much inspiration from the pins on there that help me with me get ideas for my own social media, so I thought this would be a perfect way to show the stuff that I’ve been into. I also kind of got this idea from Emily Ratajkowski because she always shares the pictures she saves from different Insta accounts onto her Insta story, so this is a similar concept. I honestly use Pinterest so much and have a lot of things pinned to my account, so week by week I’m thinking about showing my top ones, but in the future I think it would be sick to also have themes of the week and show pins that are centered around that.
Not to be a complete fatass, but how good does this look. To be honest I have no clue what this is exactly, but it looks dank. Maybe it’s because I've been locked up in quarantine that literally all I can think about is food, but I want this right now. I see a lot of weird brunch foods like this on Pinterest and I low-key want to recreate them myself and post it on my food Insta (which you all should follow me on @emilyungeats).
I’ve been seeing these EVERYWHERE. Everyone is hopping on the trend of wearing these silky scarfs as tops and I’m obsessed. This is perfect for summer and I’m sure I’ll be seeing more and more people rocking this look once the lockdown is over and everyone is out and about. I think the silky look is so chic, but this doesn’t even have to be expensive either. Deadass Amazon has the cutest silk scarfs for like $10 and you can easily do this yourself!
