Favorite Looks From The 2021 VMA
I mean despite that COVID has put a pretty big damper on most events for the last 2ish years, the VMAs this year were nothing short of a star-studded event. Like literally I feel like so much was going on, but I was absolutely living for it all. But, most importantly, I am here to talk about the outfits and which ones that I absolutely loved. Even though it was pretty clear that everyone put lots of time and effort into what they were wearing, I’m going to keep my list short & sweet.
OLIVIA RODRIGO
I’m pretty sure this was Olivia’s first VMAs & sis fucking slayed. Her style totally embodies Gen-Z fashion, but she makes it look so chic and expensive. Like first can we just talk about how adorable she looks on the red carpet in that corset-style dress. I feel like this outfit definitely made a statement, without being too over the top or campy, which is the route many people choose to take. But, at the same time she didn’t go safe and boring with her look either. Also, I just had to include her performance outfit that I was totally obsessed with, which was a short little ruffly Marc Jacobs dress. First of all, this dress looked so perfect on her body type, but I feel like all her accessories, from the silky, lace-up gloves & the tiny butterfly clips in her hair, truly pulled the entire outfit together. She literally killed it.
MEGAN FOX & MGK
Okay if we are really being honest here, Megan Fox’s outfit was literally just her insane body. Like her body really said, “three babies who?”. But seriously, Megan & MGK looked so good & their confidence is completely unmatched. They were undoubtedly the talk of the town.
MADISON BEER
Madison Beer is the type of girl you can throw in anything & you automatically know she is going to look amazing. But really, I actually loved her outfit & I felt like it was pink and girly, which is totally her style, but it was also sexy with the high slit and lace-up detailing.
KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN & TRAVIS BARKER
You guys I literally can’t, Kourtney & Travis are literally so fucking hot. I feel like this couple has such star power and they came to the VMAs looking so edgy. Ugh I’m so happy for them & you can just tell that they are so in love and that Travis treats her like an absolute queen, which is what she deserved all along. Someone please do a wellness check on Scott lol.
CHLOË
Okay this outfit fit her body so amazingly and the detailing on the top portion of the dress looked extremely sexy, while still staying tasteful. She looks heavenly and angelic!
