MET GALA Best Dressed List

Back to back fashion posts, let’s fucking go! Despite that the Met is usually always on the first Monday of May every year, I am pleased that they still decided to put it on this year with all of the chaos with the ongoing pandemic. While fashion is, in a lot of ways, a subjective art, I am bringing you all of the looks that I absolutely loved and who I feel served the most iconic looks this year. After the Met Gala being cancelled for almost the last two years, I honestly forgot how exciting it is to scroll through all of the different looks and constantly refresh to see what celebrities decided to make an appearance.

Side-note: I’m actually devastated that Kylie Jenner decided not to come this year (although I understand, because she’s currently pregnant) because if there’s one thing she knows how to do, it’s OWN the mother fucking carpet. And, also, where was Bella Hadid?

KENDALL JENNER

Hands down probably one of my favorite looks of the night. She looked nothing less than stunning and this look was an absolute dream.

HAILEY BIEBER

Hailey looked elegant and expensive. Yeah her look was a little on the safe side, but honestly there’s not denying that she looked beautiful. I love the Biebers.

OLIVIA RODRIGO

This girl has literally had the come-up of a lifetime in less than a year. The jewelry is a little over the top, but overall this outfit was pretty badass. Glad she's out here repping Gen-Z.

ZOE KAVITZ

Another sheer look, but I’m into it. If I had her body, I also would be wearing this dress everywhere I go & just stunting on everyone.

ANOK YAI

This might just be the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life. I have never heard of her before the MET, but everything about her aura & look is what I aspire to embody. Also, I personally usually prefer a longer hair style, but this super short cut tied in the whole look. And those feathers, stop I can’t I literally could go on for so long about this entire outfit. Definition of a SERVE.

EMMA CHAMBERLAIN

This was nothing too over the top, but she looked adorable. Her make up is giving me a mixture of a Tim Burton character mixed with Twiggy & I'm living for it. Such a great MET debut.

NORMANI

This dress is so loud, but I feel like she looks like a princess.

KRIS JENNER

This black pant suit is a typical Kris Jenner, momager look, but I fucking stan her so hard, so I needed to include her. She’s such a legend. And also, of course she’s wearing a Judith Leiber bag. That’s such a classic Kris move.

VENUS WILLIAMS

Venus looked adorable. I am a major tennis fan, so I loved seeing her out here on the Met Gala carpet. This look was so sophisticated and she fucking SLAYED.
