The Healthy Crepe Recipe I Learned From Tiktok
If you keep up with this blog, you probably already know how obsessed I am with Tiktok. While there are so many genres I keep up with on there, such as beauty, fashion, and travel, food has to be one of my favorites. Like you don’t even want to know how many recipes I I have in my saved folder to try out. Since I have had a lot more time on my hands now that it’s summer, I have really been taking the time to try out new dishes/recipes, which has been so fun for me! Recently, I saw a super easy, healthy crepe recipe in my feed by this creator I have been following for a while, called Emily Gough (@emilygough___ on Tiktok), and they literally turned out so good considering they only have a very limited amount of ingredients. Especially because I am always on the hunt for healthy meals that are still delicious due to the fact I often get bored eating the same thing all of the time, I needed to share this with all you because I know you will love them just as much as I did.
How to make it:
1 cup of rolled oats (grounded up)
1 cup oat milk (you can use any kind of plant-based milk or water)
2 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp maple syrup
-Mix all ingredients together & then cook on a pan over low/medium heat to you desired size (I used ghee on the pan to prevent the crepes from sticking)
-Once your crepes are cooked, add your desired fillings and/or toppings
For mine I filled them with a little bit of ricotta cheese and sliced banana & topped them with mixed berried, a drizzle of syrup, & my favorite jam (Bonne Maman raspberry)
Other suggestions: yogurt, any type of nut butters, Nutella, coconut sugar, any other type of fruit that you enjoy
