5 Skincare Products I Religiously Use

  1. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser $38

This is my all time favorite cleanser!!!! All throughout middle school and high school I strictly used only products from Murad, but by the time I was around 19-20 years old my skin started becoming extremely sensitive to everything, which caused me to always get breakouts. After trying lots of different cleansers, this is hands down the one that has worked the best for me because it is super gentle and actually leaves my skin feeling super fresh (no pun intended). Considering how well it works, it also is not crazy expensive and a little product goes a long way, so it’s not like the bottle is constantly running out. Although I did not hear about this cleanser from her, my favorite influencer, Devin Brugman, also uses this product and recommends it, so that’s when you know the hype is real.

2. Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner $45

This toner is the shit. It is super light on the skin, yet extremely hydrating. My boyfriend actually bought this product for me as a surprise & I have been hooked ever since. Something about the products by Fresh are extremely gentle for those who also have sensitive skin like me. A lot of the toners I formally used included the ingredient, witch hazel, which I later figured out was irritating my skin and causing me to have reoccurring breakouts. Ever since I switched to this toner I have noticed a major difference. I highly recommend this product.

3. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum $24

GUYS THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! My friend put me onto this product and it is literally my go to. Before trying this I had never really been that into incorporating serums in my everyday skin care routine, but this product is filled with vitamin C, which works wonders for your skin. I always use this product in the morning when washing my face, which allows it to be nourished throughout the day.

4. Ole Henriksen Sheer Transfrom Perfecting Moisturizer $42

The same friend who put me on to the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum also showed me this product too. For literally the past two years I had been using a moisturizer with SPF every night before I went to bed. Thanks to TikTok, I learned that wearing SPF over night can actually be pore clogging, which explains why after I switched to this moisturizer, my skin has become astronomically more clear. This moisturizer is not only super light-weight, it also is packed with multi-fruit acids and antioxidants, which promotes skin cell regeneration, giving your complexion a more natural dewy glow.

5. Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream $82

From the wonderful teachings of TikTok, I have learned the importance of using retinol, which works to even the skin tone, clear acne, and, most importantly, fight against signs of aging. Like this is literally THE miracle product. Although this is the only retinol product I have ever tried (I started using this one in particular because I stole it from my mom lol), I highly encourage everyone to start use some form of retinol in their skin routine (I use it about a 3 times a week). After I started using this, I definitely can tell that my skin has become a lot smoother and I have significantly less blemishes. Also, the price of retinol based on the brand can vary, but this one is pretty moderately priced. You definitely can find a lot more expensive brands on the market, as well as more affordable brands, depending on your budget.
