Current Sweet Treat Obsession: Cookie Croissants

As someone who literally needs a sweet treat daily, it obviously caught my eye when I started seeing these cookie croissants all over my TikTok feed. They come from this bakery in Paris, called Maison Louvard, and they really just combine the best of both worlds (aka buttery croissants and gooey chocolate chip cookie dough). Since I’m not going to Paris any time soon, I had to try making these myself & it’s surprisingly so easy!

What you need:

  • Croissants (I like using mini ones, since this is a kind of heavy treat, but you can use any size you want!)

  • Chocolate chip cookie dough (You can make homemade dough or use store-bought. Obviously homemade is always better imo.)

  • *Optional: Maldon salt & powdered sugar

What to do:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  • Line a pan with parchment paper

  • Cut slits down the middle of your croissants to create an opening

  • Fill these openings with your desired amount of cookie dough & also place some of the dough on the top of the croissants as well

  • Bake in the oven for 9-14 minutes depending on how gooey or crispy you like your cookie dough to be

  • Once they’re done baking, remove from the oven and let cool

  • *Optional: top with Maldon salt and/or powdered sugar

  • Serve & enjoy!
