Wines Of The Week

Although I am by no means an expert, wine is definitely one of my drinks of choice when having dinner or if I want to just chill and enjoy myself. Like you can’t tell me that there’s anything better on a night where you aren’t going out than to crack open a couple of bottles of wine with you friends or boyfriend & literally just having the best time ever. While I can’t give you a full on, in depth analysis of a wine like a pro sommelier, I can tell you what I have been recently drinking & let you all know whether or not I like it! It’s finally summer and I’m ready to get wine drunk like everyday.

  1. 2019 Imagery Pinot Noir - $20

I literally got this wine on a whim from the liquor store near my house and it ended up being so good. Pinot Noirs are definitely my favorite type of red wine & this one was definitely super smooth in my opinion. There were not any super harsh notes and this was definitely a wine that you could drink super easily and not feel like there was any super overpowering flavors. I would definitely recommend this and it also is not too expensive either.Description from the Imagery website for more details: Balanced and smooth, this Pinot Noir has layered notes of jammy strawberry, cherry and boysenberry. The fruit flavors are enriched by well integrated oak and blended with 5% Petit Verdot to achieve a substantial body. Our Pinot Noir is rich and complex with soft tannins and a long layered finish. Petit Verdot contributes to the beautiful color and substantial body of the wine.

  • My boyfriend and I also drank this wine on the same night as the Imagery wine and we also really enjoyed this one too! This one was also really smooth and had great flavor that blended well together. We also were super drawn to the packing because of how chic it looked.

  • Description from the Serial website for more details: Rich and sophisticated, redcurrant and black cherry aromatics flirt with cedar and leather showcasing this opulent wine. Decadent flavors of plum, fig and chocolate-covered blueberries provide a big, fruit-driven core. Serial Cabernet Sauvignon is silky smooth and finishes elegantly on notes of ripe cherries and wild berries.

3. Chateau d'Esclans The Palm Rosé - $17

This wine is literally so fun! Not only is the packaging super bright, pink and girly, rosé is one of those wines that just gets everyone in the summer vibes. As a fan of Whispering Angel already, The Palm is definitely another hit and has lots of fruity flavor notes, which I am totally into. 10/10 would recommend
