APRIL FAVORITES

If you want to look absolutely snatched, you need this jacket. It wasn’t given the nickname “BBL jacket” for no reason.

Also, how cute is it in this Vitapink color. I’m obsessed!

I recently just got this mug and I now use it every single day when I drink my tea. It’s from this place called Match Stoneware and everything they sell here is super unique and fully handmade in Los Angeles, which I love. I have several pieces from here, but this is my favorite.

Lazy Acres - Antioxidant Salad & Coconut Chicken Strips

Lazy Acres is one of my favorite grocery stores and whenever I go and need to grab lunch in a pinch, I always go for their antioxidant salad and the coconut chicken strips from the hot bar. The salad has roasted beets, strawberries, blueberries, walnuts, goat cheese, and a raspberry vinaigrette. I alway love a salad with sweet and savory elements, so it’s right up my alley.

Olipop - Cherry Vanilla

One thing about me is I’m always going to be craving a cute little beverage. There are so many alternative sodas these days, but I have been loving the cherry vanilla flavored Olipops. Plus, I also just love that it comes in a pretty, pink can.

Target - Stars Above Robe

The way this robe is my ultimate stay-at-home uniform. I kind of got it on a whim at Target, but I am always wearing it and I like that it’s not super thick, so it doesn’t make me feel too hot now that summer is approaching.

Journey to the Heart - By Melody Beattie

I started this book at the beginning of the year, and each day there's a short prompt/meditation to read that's meant to help you open your heart a little more and gain a more mindful perspective. Reading this at the beginning of the day always starts me off on the right foot, and I genuinely apply a lot of the lessons I learn in this book to my own life. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially those who want to get back into reading because the daily prompt is only about one or two pages each day, which is so manageable.

CAVA

Cava is hands down my favorite fast food restaurant and I am not exaggerating when I say that I could eat here every day. Everything here tastes delicious, they have so many scrumptious sauce options, and their portions are pretty big, so I always can count on having leftovers.

My favorite bowl: the Harissa Avocado.

Also, I’ve never been a huge falafel fan, but however they make the falafel here is actually so delectable and addicting.

The Best Sunglasses Ever

Whenever I wear these sunglasses, I always get a million compliments and have people asking me where they are from. They are literally just from Amazon, so obviously they are super affordable, but they look so chic and instantly elevate any outfit. I also own them in black.

Mini Dash - Heart Waffle Maker

This Mini Dash waffle maker is the cutest thing ever and so easy to use. I’m a huge sucker for sweet breakfast foods, so I always put this to work, especially on weekends since I typically just have smoothies during the week.

Blüm

I have already talked about Blüm on the blog, but needed to include it again on my April favorites because I am still so happy and excited that it opened. It’s definitely the cutest natural wine and flower shop in the South Bay & I’ll definitely be coming here often. Also, their bouquets are literally works of art!

Pasjoli

I talk about Pasjoli all the time on here, but it really is one of my favorite restaurants in LA! Their food is always on point and looks so beautiful, but honestly, they just have the most amazing people on their staff, which makes the experience of coming here that much better. They’ll always take really good care of you.

Also, one random pro-tip: while it's technically just a side dish, if you come here, you have to order the gratin dauphinois. It’s thinly sliced potatoes in a creamy gruyere cheese sauce, topped with crispy breadcrumbs. It’s so freaking delicious. I order steak here a lot, which already comes with potatoes, but I still order this because I love it that much.

Kitsch Scrunchies

These are my favorite scrunchies ever! I always keep them in my purse, car, or tennis bag and I love that they never tug on my hair or leave those ugly dent marks after wearing them.

Otterbox Wireless Charging Stand

I was always so tired of my Apple iPhone chords getting all bent near the area that plugs into my phone and eventually ending up broken, so my mom gifted me one of these wireless charge stands and I’m not joking when I say it is life changing. It just magnetizes to the back of your phone and I never have to deal with messed up charging chords anymore. A true game changer.

HUM - Here Comes the Sun Vitamin D3

Considering I live right by the beach, I really don’t get as much sun as I should because I’m always inside on the computer, so these are my absolute go-to vitamins. Over the past several years, I have loved a lot of the products made by HUM, but this one has been a constant for me.

Oddflower Creations

@oddflowercreations

My mom owns several trays from Oddflower Creations, which I always thought were so beautiful and they are all handmade in LA. Not only do they sell the cutest homeware items and accessories, but I also recently attended one of their workshops this month to create my own custom jewelry tray (pictured below). The class had the best vibe, and it was surprisingly super easy, considering how amazing the finished product turned out. I’m really hoping they host more soon because I had such a fun time and I loved meetings the owners, Amber and Kelly!

Like, is this not the cutest thing ever?! I still can’t believe I made this.
